Grape Escape Event receives donations

The Topeka Performing Arts Center is pleased to announce that it has received monetary, trade and auction item donations for their annual fundraiser Grape Escape.

      "Grape Escape is essential to the fundraising efforts of the Topeka Performing Arts Center. The proceeds from the event help with the operational budget to ensure we can continue to provide all of the events we do," says Erin Aldridge, Marketing Manager.
      "We are pleased that some many businesses are once again supporting us this year. But we still need more, we are about three-fourths of the way to our sponsorship goals."

Each year TPAC is home to more than a dozen recitals for the area's ballet and dance companies. Here are the recitals coming up in June.

Shows Announced

Topeka, Kan.—The Topeka Performing Arts Center has announced the line-up for the 2009-2010 Schooltime Theater series.

TPAC proudly presents The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Buffalo Soldier, I Have a Dream, and Patchwork – The Little House Life of Laura Ingalls Wilder this coming school year.

October 15th - The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
February 9th - Buffalo Soldier
March 26th - I have a Dream - The Martin Luther King, Jr. Story
April 22nd - Patchwork – The Life of Laura Ingalls Wilder

Schooltime Theater performances are sponsored by Security Benefit. Performances begin at 10 A.M., lasting approximately an hour. Tickets are available to the public with reduced ticket prices for groups and tax exempt entities. Please call 785-234-2787 to reserve a place for your group. Looking for something to do on the weekends or after work? Enjoy helping people, being in a friendly environment or just want to give back to the community? Become a Volunteer at TPAC! We utilize volunteers for a variety of things including scanning your tickets, helping you to your seats and putting up posters about event throughout the community.
